Talmarc Film Productions, LLC was founded by Thadd Turner and Robert Turner in 2004 as a full service feature film
production company.
Thadd Turner, producer/writer/director, winner of the 2007 Heritage
Wrangler Award as producer for the family drama Truce from the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum,
and 2006 Spur Award winner for Best Feature Drama from the Western Writers of America for his screenplay Miracle
at Sage Creek, is a recognized historical author (Wild Bill Hickok: Deadwood City~ End of Trail @ 2001),
has written over a dozen screenplays with three films produced and released (Truce, 7 Mummies, Miracle at
Sage Creek), and has several features in active development scheduled for shooting
including The Hard Ride, Buttermilk Sky, The Rez, Johnny Kidd, Gold Run, Taxidermist, The Last Horseman,
and A Meadowlark Calling.
Patrick Connor, consulting production/ development/distribution, has
over twenty years executive experience in the home entertainment, licensing, and consumer products industries with
Fortune 500 companies, including ten years with Warner Bros. as Vice President of Sales for home video, and Senior Vice President of
Retail Business Development for consumer products. Patrick founded Connor Consulting Services in 2005, and has
provided services for such companies as Liberation International and The Weinstein Company.
Larry
Rapaport, executive producer/unit production manager, was nominated for an Emmy as producer on the TNT mini-series
Into The West, and has helped physically produce over a dozen pictures in the past fifteen years, including
Comanche Moon, The Flock, The Christmas Blessing, and For Love of The Child.
Robert M. Turner, executive producer is a private business man and investor with over 40 years experience
in retail sales, commercial real estate, hotel lodging, and capital investments.
Carol A. Manning,
executive producer is a private investor and professional business executive who spent 30 years in the corporate
insurance world, real estate broker, and MENSA chairwoman.
James Clark, consulting production/coordinator
has over 30 years experience in the film industry as stuntman and train special effects coordinator, providing his unique
services for such films as Into The West, The Fast and Furious, Wild Wild West, and Throw Mamma
From The Train.
Tim Abell, producing associate/development is a former Army Ranger,
and veteran film & television actor with over 25 credits under his beret, including films We We're
Soldiers, Miracle at Sage Creek, Soldier of God, and was a regular on the hit action series Soldier of Fortune. Tim
currently hosts a sportsman hunting series for OLN television.
Justin Kreinbrink, associate
producer/physical production, comes from a family of stuntmen and actors, and wrote, directed, & produced
his first feature film Decoy in 2007 released to cable and video by Echo Bridge Home Entertainment.
Lenny Mesi, associate producer/physical production, moved into the feature film business in 2003, as a Film Technician
and Cinetechnician for the Motion Picture & Television Industries at Technicolor Films, and later joined us on Talmarc's
Miracle at Sage Creek as Unit Production Manager in 2005. Previously worked for twenty years as a successful
music Producer and Manager with various national and international entertainers.
Wyatt Turner,
producing associate/ writer/actor created the family/adventure/fantasy Johnny Kidd now in development, the
short feature Kids in The Yard, and recently appeared in Larry McMurtry's CBS miniseries Comanche
Moon and Universal Home Entertainments Christmas Miracle at Sage Creek.
Full length features released include the family Western, Christmas Miracle at Sage Creek,
winner of the 2006 Spur Award from the Western Writers of America, with David Carradine, Michael Parks, Wes Studi, Irene Bedard, and
Buck Taylor released through Universal Home Entertainment; and the action/horror 7
Mummies, with Matt Schulze, Danny Trejo, Cerina Vincent, and Billy Drago, released through
Image Entertainment.
Scheduled to shoot in Santa
Fe, New Mexico is the fast-paced action Westerns The Hard Ride and Palominas, Thadd
Turner will direct both; the family drama Buttermilk Sky with Michael Madsen; the cop action-drama The
Rez; family adventure/fantasy Johnny Kidd scheduled for 2010.
Other film projects in development include the horror/thriller Taxidermist;
buddy action Gold Run; period action/adventure The
Last Horseman; family drama A Meadowlark
Calling, adapted from the book of the same title by Patricia Martin; sci-fi thriller The Prophet
Margin.
